Funds are converted at prevailing market rates at the time of the exchange.
For Cash Accounts, if you do not have enough settlement currency in your account to settle a trade, but have sufficient fund in another currency, client is required to instruct BOCI Securities Limited to convert your available funds into the settlement currency before the respective settlement day.
For Margin Accounts, if you do not have enough settlement currency in your account to settle a trade, but have sufficient fund in another currency or marginable securities in your account, BOCI Securities Limited will lend you the settlement currency to settle the trade unless you instruct us to convert your available funds into the settlement currency.
